Where to Volunteer
United Way of Jay County
The United Way of Jay County has been part of the Jay County Community for 50 years. The United Way partners with 20 member agencies and programs to help fund programs throughout the County.
Jay County Optimist Club
By providing hope and positive vision, Optimists bring out the best in our youth, our communities, and ourselves.
Portland Lions Club
Lions stand for peace and understanding, and we unite through kindness to serve those in need.
Portland Rotary Club
We serve our community and sponsor global humanitarian projects with Rotary International.
Jay County Pregnancy Care Center
Our sole purpose is to help those in need. Our care and compassion come from serving others in our community with love and friendship. Please allow us to love you and your family as Christ has loved us.
Dunkirk Kiwanis
The Dunkirk Kiwanis Club supports children in our local community as well as Riley Children's Hospital!
Redkey Fun for Kidz
Redkey Fun for Kidz Inc is a non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to provide fun filled events in a drug and alcohol free environment for amusement in Redkey and surrounding areas, and to apply charitable acts for children and their families.

Arts Place
The mission of Arts Place is to nurture the creative spirit in our community. Serving as a non-profit organization for over 50 years, Arts Place provides various art experiences including music and art lessons, performances, and art exhibits. We currently have three locations including our Jay County Campus in Portland, our Blackford County Arts Center in Hartford City, and our Auglaize/Mercer Center in St. Marys, Ohio.
